Loved their on-site restaurant Bloody Mary's, it was good. We took a superior king room and it had a mini-fridge-bar, central heating and an electronic key card. In addition, free Wi Fi was provided. It was worth its 4 stars...

If you happen to pass by canterbury museum, consider staying here, it's 10 minutes walk from here. Christchurch City Center neighborhood definitely deserves your time and attention
